Doctoral Regalia
The Syracuse University Traditional Doctoral gown is crafted from black Gabardine fabric. It has royal blue velvet panels and chevrons, outlined by orange braid on the front panels and chevrons. It features a school seal monogrammed in orange thread on the left front panel as worn, chest high.
The doctoral hood is constructed of black Gabardine material, with degree-colored velvet. The cap is an 8-sided, black velvet tam, with gold bullion tassel.
