Doctoral Regalia
The Cornell University Traditional doctoral level gown and hood are constructed of Gabardine fabric in red with black velvet panels and chevrons. A Cornell University symbol is carefully applied to the panel on the left side as worn.
The doctoral hood is constructed of Gabardine fabric in black with degree color velvet. The cap is an 8-sided black velvet tam with gold bullion tassel.
