Walden has custom-colored regalia with the Walden seals on the gown in the custom colors of slate/cyan. You are not required to wear custom-colored regalia; you can choose a black gown by selecting the "Standard Regalia" tab. However, please note that this gown will not match the custom Walden regalia most students will wear at commencement. If you prefer Walden's custom regalia, please remain on this page.
Doctoral Regalia
The Walden University Classic Doctoral gown is constructed of EarthGrad in slate with black velveteen panels and chevrons outlined in blue braid with Waldon University directly embroidered on each panel, chest high.
The doctoral hood is constructed of Gabardine in black with an 8-sided black velvet Sure-fit tam with a gold banded slate & cyan Walden "W" signet tassel.
