Doctoral Regalia
The Texas Tech University Classic Doctoral gown is constructed of Gabardine fabric in black. The gown features black velvet panels and sleeve chevrons with red braid around both panels and chevrons.
The hood is constructed of Gabardine black material with degree color velvet. The cap is a black velvet 8-sided tam with choice of either a gold bullion tassel, gold silk tassel, or red rayon doctor tassel.
