Doctoral Regalia
The University of Houston Classic Doctoral gown is constructed of Gabardine fabric in black with red Gabardine sleeves and yoke. Black velvet panels and chevrons with white braid outline the panels and chevrons. The University of Houston insignia is on both panels, chest high.
The hood is constructed of Gabardine in black with degree color velvet. The cap is a 8-sided black velvet tam with attached red faculty style tassel.
