Doctoral Regalia
The Texas Woman's University Classic Doctoral gown is constructed of Gabardine fabric in black with dark cardinal velvet panels and sleeve chevrons. Academic metallic gold braid outlines the panels and sleeve chevrons. A TWU official seal is attached to the front velvet panel, left side as worn, chest high.
The doctoral hood is constructed of Gabardine fabric in black with degree color velvet. The cap is an 8-sided black velvet tam with gold silk tassel.
