Doctoral Regalia
The Southern Methodist University Classic gown is constructed of Gabardine fabric in navy blue with Old Glory velvet panels and sleeve chevrons. Antique gold braid outlines the panels and chevrons. A 3" SMU seal is monogrammed on both velvet panels, chest high.
The doctoral hood is constructed of black Gabardine material with degree velvet. The cap is an Old Glory velvet eight-sided tam with choice of either a red band gold bullion or red band purple tassel.

Master Regalia
The Southern Methodist University Master's gown is constructed of Gabardine fabric in navy blue with red braid outlining the yoke. It features a 3" SMU seal monogrammed on the left side of the yoke as worn.
The hood is constructed of black Gabardine with degree color velvet. The cap is a navy blue Gabardine mortarboard with a degree color tassel.

Bachelor Regalia
The Southern Methodist University Bachelor's gown is constructed of navy blue Gabardine fabric. The mortarboard cap is constructed of navy blue Gabardine with a degree color tassel.
The Stole of Gratitude is constructed of red satin material with a SMU school seal monogrammed in blue thread on both sides. It is included in the price for the gown and is required for graduation.
