The Boston University Deluxe Doctoral gowns are constructed of lightweight scarlet Sandweave material. The gown features wide panels that meet at the center front with degree appropriate velvet panels and a Boston University seal sewn on each panel. There are four models to choose from according to the degree.

The hoods are made of Sandweave material and are color appropriate to the degree. The cap is a black 8 sided or Sure-fit tam with an attached gold bullion tassel.
