University of California Deluxe Model
The University of California Deluxe Doctoral gown is constructed of Sandweave fabric in navy. The gown features royal blue velvet panels and chevrons. The outer edges are outlined with gold soutache braid. The top and bottom of each chevron are edged with the same braid. The hood is constructed of Sandweave in black with degree color velvet. The tam is either a royal blue velvet tam with a gold bullion tassel or a Sandweave black mortarboard cap with gold silk tassel.
