Doctoral Regalia
The Western Kentucky University Classic Doctoral gown is expertly crafted from black EarthGrad fabric. It features black velvet panels and chevrons, each outlined with red braid on the front panels and chevrons. A school seal, monogrammed in red thread, is placed on both panels at chest height.
The doctoral hood is constructed from black Gabardine material, accented with degree-colored velvet. Completing the ensemble, the cap is an 8-sided black velvet Surefit tam with a gold bullion tassel.
